On August 28, 2024, His Excellency Valige Tauabo, Governor of the Province of Cabo Delgado, inaugurated the 3 de Fevereiro Maternity Hospital, in the 3 de Fevereiro village of the Murrébue Administrative Post.
The maternity ward, built by the MASC Foundation with funds from the Japanese Embassy, was inaugurated in an atmosphere of celebration and satisfaction where the Provincial Directors of Health and Education, District Directors, local leaders and the population of the 3 de Fevereiro village were present.
Governor Valige Tauabo emphasized in his speech that the inauguration of the maternity ward is a sign of development and called on the community to make good use of the new infrastructure.
In turn, representing the MASC Foundation, Issa Júnior made his speech focused on the MASC Foundation’s commitment to living up to the precept of illuminating the future of new generations with actions that guarantee the well-being of local communities through the MASC Foundation’s interventions in advocacy actions for the provision of basic services.
