Promoted by the MASC Foundation, an event took place on the 26th and 27th of August 2024 that brought together 87 members of Village Development Committees and Savings Groups from the districts of Angoche and Moma, whose main purpose was to promote a learning reflection on the different dynamics of advocacy and socioeconomic development carried out by community groups in the two districts.
In these 2 days of intense interaction, the groups exchanged various experiences in knowledge, skills, emotions, attitudes and practices regarding internal regulations, records and calculations, reconciliation and accountability of members, the process of drafting, submitting and following up on advocacy letters, resolving local demands and those at other levels. They also brought good practices related to conflict resolution mechanisms within their groups and communities.
