Who we are
The MASC Foundation is a Mozambican non-profit organization committed to promoting reconciliation, social cohesion and economic growth in Mozambique, as well as in Africa. Our mission is to stimulate political and economic transformation that builds resilience to end absolute poverty and promote good governance, peace, security and an inclusive society.

Vision
An inclusive, stable and resilient Mozambique where poor and disadvantaged communities are empowered to access political institutions and resources, human rights and social justice are promoted, the capacities of local communities are strengthened and livelihoods and service provision are improved, gender discrimination is eliminated and community vulnerability is reduced.
Mission
Promote good governance, increase citizen participation in policy formulation, combat injustice and social inequalities, particularly for women and disadvantaged and excluded people, improve their socio-economic situation, promote adaptation to vulnerability to climate change, mitigate disaster risks, improve access to basic services, strengthen community resilience to violent extremism and bring about positive changes in society through close collaboration with government bodies, government and local administrations, civil society, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), private sector, development partners and other stakeholders.
